The 2012 MX-5 Miata though returns as a new model but almost unchanged from its 2011 get up. The minor changes include the stability control and traction control for all models.

The numbers might not look impressive but it will only have to carry 2,600 pounds. With the engine linked to its 6-speed gearbox, the acceleration from 0 to 60 miles an hour just takes 7 seconds. The straight line zoom is not really the bread and butter of the MX-5. Bring the car to the tracks or maybe a canyon road and see how capable the car is and how the weight distribution is close to perfection.

If you are not on a tight budget, go for the soft top Miata that sells for at least $24,000. If you will be using it as your everyday car, go for the one with herd top that is power retractable. The options are countless with the top of the line units selling for around $33,000.

The price is right as everyone says so of the Miata MX-5 but you cannot ignore that driving it is a lot of fun.

First you have to take into consideration that the asphalt was damp and the Audi has a four wheel drive configuration, so you pretty much know what happens during the track test. We cannot discount though that the Mercedes has a nice aerodynamic setup. The Audi might be superb in terms of performance but the C63 brings a lot of fun in the game.

The Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe has 451 bhp with a sticker price of £57,000. This coupe has a rear wheel drive setup and a bigger V8 6.2L powerplant with a monstrous torque of 443 lb-ft. The grunt of the engine is definitely there with a top speed pegged at around 174 mph.

The C63 AMG has an updated gearbox which has launch control helping the car blast from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and can easily cross the quarter mile mark in a matter of 12.1 seconds.

The Merc coupe also benefits from the chassis tweaks it received in the assembly line. It has a retuned bushings, shocks, and springs. The improved transmission also guarantees quick shifting.
